How do I enrol?
You are welcome to come and watch or join in for one free
trial lesson! If you choose to enrol simply send your enrolment
form to the administration address and you will be contacted in
regards to starting.
Does my child need to do the recommended amount of classes?
If you wish to participate in performances and examinations it is
compulsory to attend the recommended amount of ballet classes
per week so that your child maintains adequate strength and
technique to dance safely.
Where do I buy the Uniform?
The En Pointe School of Ballet uniform can be purchased from
any Bloch or Dance Art store in Victoria. Please feel free to ask
us details of where your closest store is. There is also an
En Pointe School of Ballet tracksuit and drink bottle which you
may wish to order at the studio.
What are the grooming requirements?
Apart from Baby Ballet all students must wear their hair in a neat
bun to every lesson, with clean clothes, no jewellry other than studs,
and be dressed in full uniform.
What do I need to know about the concert?
At the end of each year students have the chance to perform in a
fully staged production in front of family and friends. There are no
sewing requirements from parents; however there is a small production
and costume fee as well as a few extra rehearsals to attend.
Does my child need to do exams?
Exams are not compulsory however they are very beneficial and help the
students with goal setting and a feeling of achievement once they have
passed the level. Internal exams are for the whole school and are less formal.
External exams are when examiners come out from the
Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and are only for students invited to sit the exam.
