KIDS BALLET
Introduction to Ballet Classes
Ballet Class Introduction: Students participate in exams annually to advance levels at the Royal Academy of Dance.
Ballet Little Play
Age: Suitable for children 18 months and older who may not be ready to separate from parents.
Note: Parents/guardians accompany children during class.
Pre School 1
Age: Suitable for 2.5 to 3 years old.
Focus: Emphasis on coordination and balance.
Exams: Accompanied by the teacher.
Pre School 2
Age: Suitable for 3 to 4 years old.
Focus: Emphasis on dance aesthetics and rhythm.
Exams: Accompanied by the teacher; students learn to perform group dances.
Pre Primary
Age: Suitable for 4 to 5 years old.
Focus: Introduction to dance.
Exams: Accompanied by the teacher; students need to collaborate in group dances. Opportunity to be invited to competition classes.
Primary
Age: Suitable for 5 to 6 years old.
Focus: Beginner level dancing.
Exams: Students take group exams independently; they need to collaborate in duets and may be invited to compete in solo categories.
Grade 1-8
Age: Suitable for 7 years and older.
Focus: Independent group exams.
Content: Exam material includes classical ballet, free dance styles, and national dance. Opportunity to be invited to competition classes for solo performances.
